This policy explains what information App Icon (https://appicon.space) collects when you use the app icon generator, the favicon generator and the guides on this site, why it is collected, and the choices you have.
The app icon generator and the favicon generator run entirely in your web browser. The artwork you drop in is resized, masked and packed into a zip file on your own device. Your images are not uploaded to our servers, are not stored by us, and are not shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, which features are used, the type of device and browser, and the approximate country or region. This information is aggregated and helps us decide what to improve. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to do this. This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Please note:

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are not used to identify you.
The footer has an optional "thanks!" button that counts how many people found the site useful. If you click it, we save a flag in your browser's local storage, look up your public IP address using the ipify service (api.ipify.org), and store that IP address in our Google Firebase database. The only purpose is to count each visitor once. Nothing is stored unless you click the button. To have your IP address removed, email us (see below).
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We do not set cookies of our own. The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. We use your browser's local storage only to remember whether you already clicked "thanks!". You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The generators keep working if you do.
We do not sell your personal information.
Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email us. Requests about data held by Google can also be made directly through Google's privacy tools.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
